The Noble Prize has an evil twin!  Yes, its an old TV trope to be sure.  In fact, its even older than that. Dark twins have existed as long as there has been literature but you don’t find them in the real world so often.

Think I’m kidding? Think again. The truly amazing thing about these awards actually isn’t the fact that all of these things are real science.  Its the fact that they’re quite popular with actual Nobel lauriets that are willing to make fun of themselves and take part in the award ceremony.

The next award ceremony is September 30th, 2010.  We’ll keep you posted about who wins what.
